Frogs For The Cure!
November 2 and September 14, 2013
I had the honor of participating in the biggest breast cancer video in world history through Frogs For The Cure, at TCU. Me and 2,500 of my closest friends were there. It was a fabulous event! The energy was amazing! Imagine thousands of people clapping and cheering for the 80+ breast cancer survivors that were there! Wow!

Green River Ordinance’s song Rise Up will be the music in the video. While their song applies to all of life’s challenges, they wrote it for breast cancer survivors. It is a powerful song. Click on the photo below or the link to hear RISE UP! http://youtu.be/kmUBfYkzYx0

Bluebonnet Retreat – Cancer Survivor Camp
October 11 – 13, 2013
I have been to this retreat three times now. I was a camper once and a counselor twice. This time, I got paired up with a first-timer. It was a delight to watch her find her own space at the retreat. She started out being so anxious, she almost backed out right before we were to leave. She had a case of food poisoning the night before, which later, she attributed to psychosomatic nausea. Once we got there, and she started to experience the Bluebonnet Magic, she never wanted to leave and can’t wait to come back. It was a privilege to be a part of that magic for her!

Cusine For Healing’s Annual Fundraiser Event
My Modeling Debut!
What a wonderful event! Cancer Survivors took to the cat walk to raise funds for a great cause: Cuisine For Healing, a non-profit organization which provides nutritious meals for cancer patients. I was one of the models and had a blast! I got up on stage, walked the runway, shook my hips, and cheered in celebration of life!
